What inspired you to pursue a career in the automation industry, and how did you get started in this field?
I fell into this industry by accident when I joined ITS as a Validation Engineer. Working my way up the ranks to my current position as Head of Operations, I've witnessed the profound impact automation can have on our operations.
My background in project management and validation, particularly computer systems validation, laid a solid foundation for this transition. What truly inspired me was the potential to harness cutting-edge technology to optimise processes, increase efficiency, and minimise errors.
As Head of Operations, I saw the strategic importance of automation in achieving our organisational goals.
What do you enjoy most about working at ITS, and what sets you apart from other automation businesses in the industry?
What I enjoy most about working at ITS is the company's unwavering commitment to solving problems, more importantly the focus ITS has on people, both employees and customers alike. ITS has a culture of continuous improvement that encourages its employees to think creatively and push the boundaries of what's possible in our industry.

What do you like to do outside of work to unwind and recharge, and how do you balance your personal and professional life?
Outside of work, I believe in the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance to recharge and unwind. My family plays a significant role in my life, and spending quality time with them is a top priority. We also have a couple of energetic dogs who keep us active and entertained with their boundless enthusiasm.
I have a passion for DIY projects, which could range from building furniture to tackling home improvement tasks. There's something immensely satisfying about creating something with my own two hands.
I also enjoy drawing and other artistic endeavours, as they provide a welcome escape from the demands of my professional life. Balancing personal and professional life can be challenging, but it's essential for overall well-being.
